The past few years we have been in a muted time. A time to figure out how to become. And now is the time to be. Now time to claim and state, “I am!” A statement of “to be,” and thus, being. Statements such as, “so be it, command it to be, shall it to be, let it be so, etc.” Often, we think of “I am” as a label, role, and identity, e.g., such as accountant, husband, father, etc. Indeed, these roles reflect our functions in relation to our family, community, society and so on. We have been taught to limit our referring to ourself as a minor relative to the divine. Such as the children of God. The statement, “I am divine (“God “) has been used as evidence of mania, grandiosity, delusions and living in the realm of the insane and mentally ill. Of course, historical patriarchal decorum notes limited and select lines of the apostolic succession, divine right of royalty, or blood/DNA, as the only valid connections to the divine. While also giving rational explanations of… “But you sir/madame have risen from the mud, are a product of a lowly beast. You might recognize and acknowledge your lowly position and through your efforts or via the blessings, grace, good works the representatives of the divine, might show you good favor.” On the other hand, the even more historical remote matriarchal organization are surmised to be because of species survival from a savage beast of hunter/gather towards agricultural innovations, community, and symbols and eventually language. Thus, we have the savage beast, then the matriarchal community, followed by the patriarchal egoic individualization. But and now what?
I wonder if we are at the threshold of the next great age of “becoming?” (on the path towards being and eventually to be). The recent few years have presented an opportunity to question and reflect; what the hell is going on and how the hell we have gotten here and why? In a sense, it has been a time of apocalypse, i.e., a great revealing. Which at deeper levels (especially relative to individualism of the ego), begs the question of what and who am I? Perhaps we are getting a bit too far in front of ourselves. Last week’s post was about “now” what is the next step as we cross the bridge.
Past posts have presented a “natural” perspective/approach to learning. Specifically, see one, do one, teach one, and be one. In the past 10-20 years there has been an explosion of and realization that we have more capacity, abilities, or bandwidth than what I was taught as a child in the 1960s. There has also been the establishment of scientific empiricism that seeks to develop theories/models, understand, and validate “reality.” However, because of “out of the box” advances in scientific thought, there is a significant acknowledgment that consciousness is involved in our perception, interpretations, and interoperation of reality.
An increasing sentiment of who we are, is that we are more of an energy and frequency of being. Consciousness and heart connect us to the field or soup of God. We are already embedded in this soup but are unaware we are the soup. The challenge is to upgrade, uplevel or expand to understand our being-ness is beyond the limiting traditional (past) notions of the functional, social, relationship, religious labels of the social-economic-class environment. The emerging notions of expanding into beings of energy and frequency, and with this is also a new challenge of what will be our emerging ethos. I wonder and advocate the ethos of salient qualities of being such as integrity, compassion, gracefulness, etc. Certainly, these qualities are better aligned with the “unity” consciousness or realm. It becomes a matter of your relationship beyond the social-economic-class position, function, and labels. The role and function parameters remain, but the quality of interaction/relationship emerges as precedent. Meaning in a unity consciousness/realm the matters of transparency, integrity, compassion, and grace are superseding issues such as profit, dominance, and self-interest. Not that it is all about rainbows and unicorns for everyone. But more of a pragmatic notion of support, win/win, and an appreciation and respect for diverse and divergent positions. It is learning how to support each other while also creating a whole new level of sausage making amongst each other… lol. This expands beyond a mother/father labels and function. It becomes being a compassionate mom/dad, not only a friend, but a graceful friend, not only as an adversary, but an adversary with integrity, appreciation, and respect of their situation. Trying to make the best sausage together; each contributing their special spices and ingredients. Fusion sausage anyone?
Listening and Learning… The First Task
Whether becoming a musician, artists, gardener, parent, politician, skier, mystic, follower, etc. The first thing to learn is to listen and feel; noting the subtleties. If one cannot note what, when, where how and particularly the underlying “WHY.” Then you don’t know the other’s “who, what, when, where, why, and how.” This inability results in difficulty analyzing, implementing, and executing/improvising because… we are responding to and creating from our own self-centric reality; aka chasing your own tail. The trick is to be “other-centric.” Oriented to understand the other’s perspective, needs and wants; their being. This is nothing new. Some call this empathy, sensitivity, situational awareness, etc. The challenge and task is using our senses or ability to see, hear, taste, feel, think, and intuit what is actually going on and not what we think is going on! If we cannot sense and perceive what is happening, then it is near impossible to respond to the situation; let alone create something worthwhile from and with it.
How to Become Sensitive?
The first place is to find your center and quiet yourself, i.e., get yourself out of your own way. Second, listen to your body, mind, heart, and intuitive responses. This is confusing considering the above sentence. But all you are doing is just noting your response(s) as just another set of data points. But it is not the only nor most important set of data points.
Third, as always, you are always adding, refining, re-calibrating and learning what works best. For example, a gardener learns to feel the soil in their hand, smell with their nose and taste it. Thereby determines its condition and needed supplements. The eyes can see the leaf curl from lack of moisture or some mineral issue. The point is, that your being, your body, senses, mind, heart, and intuition can become a highly refined and sensitive instrument. We just need to learn how to calibrate it to both who we are, the situation that is presenting and for our purpose of expanding and enhancing “creation.”
Another example, an accomplished musician, at some point, must learn to listen with their senses. One or two senses may be preferred and provide more inspiration for creative interactions. We all have this; even babies or very young toddlers will bounce to a beat. Their little bodies in tune with the rhythm, smiling with a feeling of joy. Miles Davis heard urban street sounds and created melodic jazz pieces that created images of a lonely soul playing into a mystic summer night; creating a mellow reflection of a busy urban street. The potter, healer, and Michelangelo all learn to sense; see, feel, and intuit. Hell, we can train even a dog to smell cancer or some rare truffle… even though the dog might not be able to create… but they can learn to sense. Btw, I just saw a reel in which dogs were being taught to drive. “Hey pup, drive me to the grocery store… we’ll get a bone for dinner” (how ‘bout that Elon). These are all examples of listening with different senses. Fine tuning them to discover and create. Of course, the more you do, the more skilled you become; competent, and confident. Confidence is having enough experience to be, to know, and to decide to do, not do and when to stop. For Miles Davis, it was about the pauses or silence that accentuated the notes.
And the fourth is to “know” when to surrender into the flow and create something unimaginable. This is called improvisation, jamming, and not knowing and not worrying what you create. Only discovering upon reflection, in retrospect. This is where what, when, and why happens. It is when the self-centric “who” disappears into the single endless moment of divine flowing. In retrospect it is where, the what, when, where, why, and how are shown and can be evaluated and determined to be appreciated and valued.
Side note: A tad difference from the empirical research perspective. When one considers the curve or rate of innovation and the adoption of innovation. The early part of the curve is before the ability to empirically test and gather data, i.e., primary source research. Thus, a person can only crudely compare and anticipate trends and situations. The level of the proof is “the eating of the pudding” is merely a visceral reaction. The following genuine work is the examination of the resulting data, interpretation, and further discussion. If there is a positive response, it encourages exploration or perhaps spurs unthought of applications. Often later there is a recognition that the results offer new unexpected directions and possibilities for fruitful research, i.e., new rabbit holes. Just to note; the proof of “the eating of the pudding”, often equates to how do you feel… good, bad, or ugly?
Becoming, Being and to Be
A toddler learning to walk is by first seeing other toddlers walking. They get the idea they might also walk. Then by attempting, i.e., doing/experience they gain a sense of competence and subsequently confidence. They are now presenting as a verb/action of walking. And perhaps many years later become the mother teaching and helping their toddler to learn how to walk.
Becoming is the recognition or awareness of the possibility. “Being” is to do, learn, and practice. And to “Be” (noun) is the recognition of “I am!” Thus the “Be” is the declaration and the “ing” is the verb or action of being. How do you know if it’s working? It’s all work. Practice leads to experience. Experience leads to mastering. And mastering to being… to Be. It’s the same old pattern of see one, do one, teach one and Be one.
Whirlwind of Change
Often when we are in a whirlwind of change, we can get disoriented and not know what is working and what is not working. What is happening? Where to start and how? The encouragement is to begin within yourself. The most direct, efficient, and elegant method or strategy is to search, find, and examine yourself. Question “who am I?” Discover your Self and the dots begin to make sense. The psychological, metaphysical, and spiritual key is discovering who you are. It is the holy grail or key to your puzzle or path. Understand that the whirlwind or tempest is the gate blowing open; a sign that you are on the right path and near what you search for. Don’t get distracted by the storm of the gates opening. You are closer than you think.
Sensations and Feelings
Our bodily feelings and sensations are similar yet different. Sensations are perceived. But the interpretation is a filter of meaning either projected on (anticipation) from prior experience. This can be as anxiety or excitement. And interpreted as pain or pleasure, which is a learned response bases on interpretation. Interpretation of either pain or pleasure and anywhere in between on the spectrum. Ultimately it is a matter of awareness and choice.
Measuring Stick
We all have a view or blueprint of our self. And thus, have marks which show whether we are meeting our expectations. The issue, is what measuring stick are we using? The general measuring stick we use is in relation to space and time. We have been taught; we are bound to a linear sense of time, space, and progression. Ideas of Darwinian evolution, serial and parallel processing, an expected rate of return on our investments, etc. The benchmarks tick by from birth to death… time marches on. “Science” is the mighty paradigm in which all things are measured; in accordance with theories, empirical protocols, providing the great way to think, measure and understand reality, meta-reality, and beyond. The unknown, it’s just a matter of building a better mousetrap in which to measure. The presumption is this is how all matters of reality works.
Sensitivity and Responsiveness
If we are aware of other states of being, perhaps we don’t have to work so hard in the sense of physically changing plodding along. The challenge with increased sensitivity is that we have quicker or instant feedback. Working on elevated level of our feelings and connecting to the larger field with increased sensititivy and responsiveness. We need to learn to drive a little better. For example, if we are used to driving around in a clunker and now, we have a high-performance car that is more powerful and responsive. Well, it’s going to take a little more finesse, a little more attention, a little recalibration of how you drive to become a confident expert driver. When we become an expert driver, we can take advantage of the performance and it becomes more fun to hotrod around. If on the other hand, we’re not paying attention, we can certainly crash into the wall a little quicker.
Look Where You Want to Go
Danica Patrick podcaster and former race car driver tells the story learning to look to where you want to go. A simple but important skill to drive well, is to look to where you want to go, … not where you’re going. Are you looking at the wall you are going to crash into. Or are you looking at the space to navigate the change? Fear has an amazing power of attraction to draw your attention to where you are going. Fear and anxiety lock you into where you are going. But what is on either side of fear? Briefly notice what you’re looking at and how you are feeling? Anxiety and excitement are close relatives of fear and love. What do you dread or fancy? Remember the gap is the space in which to navigate. Focus where you want to go… not where you are doomed go because the lack of understanding of where to focus is the heaven and hell of reality. It is responding versus creating where you want to go. This simple technique of being mindful of where you are looking applies to skiing in the trees, to dating and mate selection, to what you eat… to life and what your reality becomes.
A Spectrum
Having a map of the terrain is a great benefit. The benefit of the map is to help to orient and navigate toward where you aspire to be. These maps will help you to get to the doorway in which to experience various frequencies. All frequencies, the lower and higher frequencies, will get you there. It’s just a matter of what path you want to take. The thought is that the lower frequencies will eventually get you there, though it may take quite a few lifetimes. On the other hand, the left-handed path could be a direct path. Traditional metaphysics notes the “left-handed path” is dangerous and is not recommended. While the right-handed path (higher frequencies) is traditionally recommended, yet it also has some sticky parts. There are a variety of doorways or portals to experience frequencies. But you still need to involve your head, heart, and intuition to access and understand the dynamics of each frequency. It is an experiential investigation of using your senses and noticing what happens. Basically, to try, to do, and notice the results. Remember that the human body is an elegant transceiver of frequencies. The scientific approach is just a slight refinement that involves proposing a hypothesis of what might happen and designing an experiment to test or nullify the hypothesis and then crunch the data to determine a level of statistical confidence. For the rest of us non-academics, the proof of the pudding is in the eating. This often equates to how do you feel after eating the stuff? But even pudding can be misleading…lol. The thing to remember is that this approach is “self-centric” with the sparse number of data points, i.e., an “n” of 1.
Framework
In the past posts, the attempt was to lay out the framework/structure of change and the change process. We now are moving into the psychic realms. Equating the psychic realm using the metaphor of a vehicle. Consciousness is both your psychic vehicle and how you navigate the vehicle. We are now merging (expanding) onto the galactic interstate (psychic field). And as sovereign beings we use our consciousness as the dashboard/controls to orient and navigate what we do and where we go. But it’s our heart (feelings) that powers (fuels) our vehicle/consciousness. This is part 1 of 4 part series (lovechangegrow.com/galactic-interstate-and-our-new-vehicle-part-1/)
Becoming, Being and to Be
Also, in the past, I’ve tried to articulate the idea of “becoming” which is orientation (learning) of a general direction. The “becoming” is just getting a familiar understanding of about some concepts, common sense, and learning things you might consider about how to drive your vehicle. “Being” is practicing and learning how to drive your vehicle (via consciousness) in all kinds of weather, road conditions, and to navigate to different destinations. And the “be” is the trip… IRL (in real life). Check this link below. https://www.ef.com/wwen/blog/language/50-most-inspiring-travel-quotes-of-all-time/
This post is to lie out the process of how we navigate the energy or psychic realms. The main point, is that “now” we move from becoming to being, and then to be. To be is the declaration, that “I am;” the alpha. And being is the verb or action part of to “be.” The “to be” is the state of “being.” And the be-“ing” is the verb form of energy, doing… or emergence thereof.
Maps
Below represents a spectrum of “states to be.” The energy of being and embodied action of being. In this spectrum, one has the sovereign free will choice to be whatever and wherever they want to move and be throughout the spectrum. But it also takes action, responsibility, commitment, and learning. There are many variations of maps, just search “energy frequency and vibration.” As a planet, where do you think, we are emerging/expanding?

The Challenge… And The Fun
However, the idea or the challenge for some will be to maintain in a higher energy state of being. We see some folks dwell primarily in a certain level of being. There are dark ones and the light ones. In general, both dark and light ones can choose to move downwards, upwards or stay the same. Ideally there is a progression towards and becoming lighter or higher energy and frequency. The general sense is once you experience a higher frequency, ones rarely enjoy the lower burdensome dark areas. Yet, there are those which being in the “dark” is not a weighty issue, e.g., bodhisattvas.
Referring to that chart, the general concept is we seek to experience and thus understand the dark frequencies versus the light frequencies. In gaining experience, we discover the expansiveness and lightness of the higher frequencies. Compared to the lower frequencies of frustration, agitation, and disappointment (hellish). Yet even the experiences of the lower frequencies can provide valuable and poignant lessons, such as the ghost of Jacob Marley, “A Christmas Carol,” Charles Dickens, 1843.
The universe is energy vibrating at different frequencies. The technique is to match or resonate at the frequency you desire. Then finding yourself synchronized in that reality. This is simple reciprocity. The destination is not a place, but a being. To be is the destination. And by being, you have adventurous experiences in wonderland. Be…ing, the hue-man is about “shining” your color of light.
This link is a concise presentation:
Transparency
Transparency, what if we could all read each other’s thoughts, feelings, and energy? How would that affect our interactions with each other? Would it be liberating or terrifying?
What you see is what you get. Inherently, there is a level of integrity of being who you are, which reflects your sovereignty in choosing to be who you are and the opportunity to be something different. Moving into this new psychic unity realm; the good, the bad and the ugly provide the immediate benefit of the ability to reflect on and show our being. While this might be terrifying, it is a significant and influential opportunity to learn about your psychic self and unity realm that is beyond the ego.
I wonder if instead of the who, what, when, where, why and how of the space and time realm. The psychic unity realm is “now” revealed and accessible. Revealing love, integrity, compassion, grace, and sovereignty are the foundation in which we emerge as multi-dimensional beings.
Blessings,
Tim
