Meditation
Meditation is learning about, becoming and being. Meditation is just the process, technique, and skill to become and be. The spiritual, meditative, metaphysical, treatise, traditions, and practices are merely tools and instructions. Visualization, prayer, meditation, chanting, dancing, singing, yoga, being in a cave, pilgrimages, etc. are practices to learn, become and be.
However, we have the opportunity and challenge to move beyond these practices and instructions. The challenge is to be light, love, compassion, grace, joy, etc. And via direct experience, we create and realize a new reality of and by being.
The Challenges
The first challenge and realization is that you are divine. The hard part is letting go of what we have been told and our experience of being less than divine. This is because we have identified our “false sense of self” as clay, mud, and pieces of dirt. Cosmic dust that has magically or evolutionarily become a glob of organic matter with some intelligence and self-reflexive consciousness. The story is that the divinity created us in their “likeness.” Which likeness differs from being, i.e., “the same as” or “as one” with them. The paradigm is changing from mud and darkness to light and being. The question is how does this happen? Is this done by our effort, fortune, or random luck? Or is this done by divine intervention, blessing or grace? Or is this done by awareness, recognition, realization, or enlightenment? Of course, this question of how, why, what, whom, when and where are of a lesser nature and perhaps not relevant. The greater proclamation is “do or do not.”
The second challenge is the greater proclamation of “do or do not.” If we are the same or “as one with,” that is a hell of a responsibility. What does this mean? We are divine, holy crap! It is the awareness that we are sovereign, self-evident, and responsible for our being. If this is true, then why are things on this planet such a pile of manure? Do I, you, and we have some horrid condition? Maybe yes, maybe no… I don’t know. And this is the exact point. Perhaps we forgot we are divine and have been in a long process to remember, awaken and realize that we are divine. Meanwhile, swimming in our own cesspool. Yet with the dawning or emergent experience, or acknowledgment that we are divine, the challenge is to let go of our misconceived identities of self. And claim “I am…” the creator, protector, the experiencer, and destroyer of the infinite realms of heavens and hells; the alpha/omega.
The third challenge is to surrender or drop into divineness. However, we (the ego) likes to know what we are dropping into. The question becomes, dropping or falling into what? The ineffable, unimaginable? What happens to the who, what, when, where why and how? What if, instead of falling we become unburdened? Dropping our baggage and begin to float, to rise, to be enlightened? Is this the divine forgetfulness of just being? Of entering the flow of playing, the emergence of being… even forgetting to be?
Childlike
This is where being comes into play. Perhaps learning, becoming and being is “soft drop” or “baby drop.” Learning to become and be light, compassion, grace, joy, bliss in our sovereignty and integrity. Is this our stepping-stone into the divine? Is it an opportunity to play and learn to be in unity with the divine? First, we are introduced to the notion of our divinity. Second, we get to play with the notion of divinity reality. Third, we own the notion that we are divine. Fourth, we become divine. Fifth, we are divine… all is divine. Once we achieve our divinity, we/all move beyond the threshold of divinity into the ineffable. We are beyond our former sense of self; no longer burdened by the past and future. Just playing!
The Lighted Path
Another way to look at this. There is no path to divinity. Divinity is the path. In pedestrian terms, the notions of compassion, grace, and love is divinity as an action or a verb. An active embodiment of divinity. Thus, practicing compassion, grace, love, and light is like being in kindergarten. A time to see, do and play with our divinity. For example, a simple/elementary meditative technique. The technique is to see the light in your mind’s eye. Focus on the light, then move into the light (or become absorbed into and surrounded by the light). In this light bath, we become the light. Changing and playing with the colors of light, we become the colorless or clear light. Realizing you, I, and we are light… shining. Boom… you are the light. Being, shining and reflecting the alpha and omega. Your light is, holds and reflects the frequencies (colors) of compassion, grace, bliss, joy, love, etc. When one does this, the niggly things like money, exquisite food, expensive cars, and homes become ragged accoutrements, quickly fading from your attention. Your reality is abundant and infinite without effort or attention… as it always has been. So ends the challenge of becoming, being and to be… you are! All that it ever was, all that is and all that it will be… collapsing to the point of being both the blessing and flow of the infinite abundance. “What the hell Timmy?… I know, it’s a hell of a problem!”
Similar… but Different
To be joy, to be love, to be compassionate, and to be grace is the meditation; all day, all night, and all the time. It’s no longer just for 20 minutes, an hour or longer. Each breath is a meditation of being. An embodiment of being in your practice of yoga… a divine union of being yoked. The difference is do or not do, being or not being, flowing or not flowing, i.e., crossing the threshold.
We are moving into being energy. Time and space collapse as flow. Where the spiritual practice is “to be.” The essence and emergence have quickened or changed to “in the blink of an eye.” You might do a workshop or a group practice or meditation, but this is just a practice of being. This is the on-ramp which is easily mastered and quickly done. You quickly learn to walk, run, and play. You quickly become the epitome, the embodiment of love, compassion, and grace… because you are these. It is the new integrity of being. The integrity is to be. It is beyond merely practicing, beyond doing a workshop or sitting on a mat or doing yoga for a few minutes a day. This is the embodiment of your energy and life… is to be. You can do nothing else but be. It is a whole new level of being the energy and frequency of joy, of love, of compassion and grace.
Doing, quickly becomes being. The challenge is to be this is the new reality. This creates the new garden, the new world, the new earth, the new space, and time that is beyond what was known. Folding into and emerging the flow of being. An effortless action of being.
The progression is: I am, to be… love, compassion, grace, etc. It’s a state of being, a meditation, the yin and yang flow of creation and to be. It is your and our divine sovereignty… to choose… the wise part is up to you! LoL
Dive into spiritual and metaphysical treaties, do workshops, practice, and learn to be. Practice. Make it a union with and in your daily life; as you walk, cook, raise your children, work with others, etc. become and be. Demonstrate for yourself in all times and spaces. Do love, peace, joy, etc. Be the vibrational energy and frequencies. Enable others to feel, see, and experience the reality of your realms. Their reality will change within a blink of an eye.
Wagon Ho
Of course, occasionally we fall off the wagon. The point is not to beat ourselves up about falling off the wagon. Just get back on the wagon and try to hang on longer. It’s the same practice that we use in addiction and recovery. Get back on the wagon and try not to crash or get bucked off. It’s not an issue of guilt or shame. Just realize that it’s part of the practice of learning, becoming and being something new. Become the horse pulling wagon… thus there is no falling off the wagon. Soon the horse and wagon will disappear. Realize you are the path… and even the path will fade.
Just be, and all will be with you! Abundance is your reality. No reason to worry or fear. You are your own being. Being sovereign is a radical, evolutionary, and spiritual act. Be love, be compassion, be graceful and in being; you are unshackled and unburdened. You are free to be self-evident and sovereign. Love, joy, compassion, grace, and health are yours. BE and abundance flows.
Blessings for the New Year,
Tim
