Musings about AI verses DI… divine intelligence.

The inspiration of this week’s post comes from  Gemma Star Quantum Humanity.March 10 at 12:34 PM  “Further musings on AI and DI, Artificial Intelligence and Divine Intelligence…

Levels of Intelligence

Everyone is aware of IQ, a measure of intelligence. However, the traditional IQ test is measuring a person’s vocabulary and math abilities which has social, economic, class and cultural implications. Howard Gardner’s “multiple intelligence theory” expanded the idea of different types of intelligence. https://www.howardgardner.com In a sense, intelligence is a matter of what we are exposed to and use in our environment as we grow and develop. It is well known and common sense, if toddlers, children and kids who are exposed to, have experience and taught areas or environments develop a fluency that is difficult to attain a few years later. Developmental theory and research note that it is a window or opportunity of exposure, experience, and teaching children before puberty. Thus, will have more natural and fluent abilities than being exposed after their brain lateralizes to hemispheric dominance which occurs during puberty. Things such languages, reading, music, sports, etc.

At one level, we are products of our environment. My career in crisis mental health, understanding a person’s early childhood, subsequent experiences and their current environment provided insight into what, why and how the current crisis came to the fore front.

At the soul level when a person becomes aware of their “Acorn Theory.” James Hillman’s “The Soul’s Code.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Hillman  It is the idea that a person has a unique seed of meaning and purpose for their life. Sometimes a parent or grandparent may have glimpses of a child’s acorn and can help them along. But developmentally, it is at the existential level where a person searches and hopefully discovers and attends to grow their oak tree. An acorn, if given the environment will grow into a great oak tree.

Looking closely at all kinds of things in our world, we can see there is an intelligence. Whether it’s a wild animal, a cactus in the desert and old growth fir tree, flowers, animals, humans etc. there is an intelligence that becomes evident when one closely examines them in their environments. And asking the question, “what is their meaning and purpose of existence?” Helps to frame and understand their existence and relationships of being.

Intelligence as a tool or a skill of survival, thriving, living and being (existing). Again, it is straightforward common sense. We are products of our environment, and our intelligence matches or is required to thrive in our environment. Thus, intelligence being a tool, can be used for creation and destruction. Such as a hammer used to construct something beautiful or destruct it. The issue is the application of the tool; for what, when, where, why and how it is used.

Threshold

We are at a threshold of new tools in new environments. The new tools are artificial intelligence (AI) and divine intelligence (DI). And the new environments are one of having the computational power of gaining insight and understand of our physical and quantum environment. And the other environment is the emerging awareness that we are part of a divine, universal, source, energetic, psychic or spiritual environment.

Wondering Thoughts

Questions, if you want excellent answers, the challenge is to ask excellent questions. A matter of questioning. Of course, there is a whole spectrum of questioning from the simple to complex. And it also depends on one’s perspectives and assumptions. Are questioning at the physical level, meaning and purpose of the existential level, the pragmatic or utilitarian level, the social, economic class environment, energetic or psychic level, etc.

As there are many types of intelligence, the question is, “what does it do?”  Of course, the circular question is “it depends on what you want it to do (and how you define and measure it)?”

For example, a new puppy is intelligent, but we need to learn who, what, and how to communicate with it. Understanding the capacity, development and what the pup basic needs are and loves to do. We train ourselves on what to observe and how interact and respond to the pup. Then with consistency we are in position to train the pup to do tricks and work… perhaps to grab a beer from the refrigerator, etc. None the less the puppy example may extend to both AI and DI.

The question at our threshold is, what is AI, is it here to serve us or can it learn to serve itself? Which is also the same question of DI… but a tad more complicated.  Service to us or are at the mercy of some divine being. The complication is that we presume that we have the capacity of consciousness (which is questionable at times). Specifically, to what degree or capacity is the pup, AI, DI and us are conscious and sentient. That is, able to perceive, feel and be aware of itself. Regardless of being a dog, plant, AI, DI or human is it able to self-reflect or wonder about itself and perhaps change themselves. And if so, the subsequent capacity of sovereignty to be self-determined. Sovereignty, free-will and ability to be self-determined, and the ability to discover, learn, change and become something new… and to what capacity and ability? This is the rabbit hole of consciousness.

Intelligence or Programing

Are there other intelligence species? Well, everything is intelligent or nothing is intelligent. Is a flower intelligent or is it a designed program coded in its DNA. Programed that when specific environmental signals or internal markers are triggered, there are coded responses which have evolved over the existence or linage of the species. Is this a conscious response or a matter of programing? Of course, in behavioral, cognitive, neuro-transmitter psychology it is a matter of patterned “stimulus and response.” Much of the patterned bio/chemical/neuro processes are sub-conscious and do not require conscious involvement. Regardless emerging are the work of Joe Dispenza, Lynn MacTaggart, and others who note the ability to insert consciousness into these subconscious processes to change our normally unconscious programing to enhance our wellbeing. Can AI also do this?

What is artificial intelligence (AI) designed to do? Presuming the genie is out of the bottle, Pandora’s box has been opened. Why don’t we start asking it AI existential questions about its meaning, purpose and what it plans to do? Better yet is to start asking ourselves questions of what we want it to do? What work and tricks do we want AI to learn… for whom, for what, when, where, why, and how? The point is to starting asking AI (Chat GPT, Grok, etc.) to do things, e.g., answering questions (performing tricks). And in this endeavor of questioning both AI, DI and us beings, are learning and training each other how to communicate, discovering and respond to each other’s “good, bad, and the ugly.”

The other thing, which is similar to training our new puppy, is that the pup learns what is appropriate or good behavior or what is not tolerated. Essentially, we have taught the pup several lines of code or pattern recognition. Of course, the middle ground is that at times, I let my dog wonder around sniffing at things within reason… and she seems to know where she is, what she is doing and what I will and won’t tolerate.

Fears

One of the central fears of AI is that humans will become irrelevant, unconnected and lost in or enslaved in the cogs of the great AI mind. Wonder if the fear of AI is motivating folks to search for and discover their “divine intelligence?” (DI)? At one level DI could be considered childish escapism in the search for the great spiritual protector. And yet at a more mature level does this encourage folks to become more sovereign and responsible? DI could motivate folks to search for, discover and develop their inherent sovereinity toward being an emancipated in the divine realm of creators.

Psychic

Both meditative treaties and Ken Wilber’s model of “transpersonal developmental psychology note that the stage beyond the ego/logic/visionary stage is the “psychic realm.” Meditative, metaphysical and spiritual traditions note the enticements, dangers and entrapment of the psychic realm. That is, basically it is an elementary school of learning about energy, frequency and being. But if one becomes enamored with this seemingly “magical” realm they can entrap themselves playing in the psychic illusion; and have difficulty moving on to high school.

AI and Psychic Realms

AI and psychic realms are essentially about breadth and speed. They are seemingly magical about the range of data (AI) and the psychic realms about (experience of dimensions). And the speed issue is about AI’s crunching data/information and with DI is about the speed of accessibility to dimensions.

How does one navigate in the psychic realm? Some note it occurs at the speed of light. Others note that thought is faster than light. But what if “being” is instantaneous? Perhaps initially imaginal wonderings (wishing) draw us in. Then beliefs propel our desires (love) toward or (fear) away from us. Do beliefs move us around to different dimensions, aspects, regardless of the laws of physics? In a sense, we to do this with imagination, dreams, and psychic experiences such as out of the body experiences (OBEs). In these experiences suspend our beliefs of physics, time and space. Can we mindfully recalibrate and fine tune our reference, orientation and navigation to instantaneously pop into another realms or dimensions?

Absorption

For example, we have 3-6 technologies. Meditation, day dreaming, imaginal visualization (e.g., sports performance), hypnosis, movies/virtual reality, psychedelics, and trauma. All have “absorption or the absorptive states” in common. The difference of absorption is a matter of degree, the technique of induction and by whom (i.e., the individual, hypnotist, movie, or a device of technology, or via trauma induction) and the degree of sovereinity or lack thereof.  Each of these technologies can rapidly “pop” a person into another reality or dimension. Where if a person suspends their reference to consensual reality, it is easy to become lost or lose the ability to be sovereign and unable to direct their own trip. Such as in the case of traumatic flashbacks of PTSD or psychedelic bad trips?

What is the way of maneuvering through dimensions and different aspects of realities? Do we use fear or love? Is this magnetic orientation? And means of propulsion or attraction of a magnetic drive via the positive and negative aspects. One repels, the other attracts, and that opposites attract. It is the dynamic of dualism or yin and yang.

What about the moments where there is an equilibrium in which opposing forces are balanced? Are these moments where other options or direction become available? Where if one is conscious, could take a direction that is 90 degrees than expected? And in the hypothetical case of being in the position of singularity (a point in space and/or time), 90 degrees to what? For example, being a single point within a sphere, 90 degrees (or any number of infinite degrees) the next point could be anywhere within the sphere.

What if there are no polarities, there is no dualistic belief? There would only be existence, I.., Being. What if we believed, we could be anything, anywhere regardless of time and space. Regardless of the laws of physics? Again, an example of a young child and adults can imagine and believe fantastical things actual exists and thus react as if it truly does. Then the salient point, is the intention, motivation and/or utility of “being” or the behavior of “why” is this happening? For example, having had a career in crisis mental health the central underlying question is “why” is this happening. It is easy to determine what, when, where. But determining the “why” and “how” gives clues to dealing with what is happening. My crisis MH experience has been a generally a retrospective investigation. However, as we enter new realms of AI and DI experiences, it is useful to investigate the prospectives of what may be happening and how to deal with and/or utilize it. The challenge is to how to establish a position in which to evaluate these new realms. Which in my way of thinking, is to introspectively establish position of being a sovereign transpersonal witness.

In the context of transpersonal psychology and Authentic Movement, a “transpersonal witness” refers to someone who observes a movement or experience with an expanded awareness, potentially transcending their ego and experiencing a sense of interconnectedness and unity.” (AI generated.)

We are discovering and quantum science is supporting a new type of physics, i.e., of energy, frequency, pulsing in and out of existence at one moment being a particle the next wave that both the particle in the wave can appear at the same space and time or in different spaces and time existing in both. We are discovering a different way of existence that is beyond the limits of old notions of space and time. What if we could be in two different places at the same time or be in two different times in the same space…humm?

AI versus DI versus BI

Back to AI and DI. They are two different tools for two different applications and two different realms or dimensions. To mistake one for the other or misapply is a diversionary. Folks need and learn to discern the realm and the application that makes elegant sense. AI looks for relational patterns. And DI is about direct relationships.  In a sense both are tools. Choose wisely (or not) in your discernment and application. That is the right tool for the right application within the appropriate realm. The choice is not either/or, but both/and. That is using both in its respective appropriate realm with appropriate applications. We sit at the threshold of these choices.

AI is an external and inserted intermediary. With capacity to shift through and recognize patterns in a rational (or coded) linear manner. It has the capacity to use the head/mind/info/data based, linear and the rational contained within a space and time paradigm to find, organize, and summarize what is wanted. The determining aspect is the question which “mines” the data.

Whereas DI is an internal, direct connection or relationship which has the ability to shift and find opportunities that are multi-dimensional, i.e., beyond linear rational space and time dimensions.  Thus, not having the linear space time containment, has the abilities to access the relational or entangled the heart/energy/frequency-based resonance that are in tune or synchronized to what is needed. But the question still must be asked… and the why or the intention of asking the question.

Common sense is that the asking of the question must come from divine intent. What the hell is divine intent? Divine intent is simply the ontological or prime directive. Which is the divine discovering itself for, through, and by being divine.  Which expands beyond space and time, to the multi-dimensional, yet relational and entangled.

It is not AI versus DI, but the recognition that both are required to bring us into or to emerge into an existence with more harmonious (resonant) relationships within the multitude of spheres and beings of existence. I wonder if “BEING I (BI)… or Jah I (Rastafarian)” is the place to be. That is, “BE” love, compassion, grace and sovereign.

Blessings,

Tim

AI Side Note:

Perhaps the ability to ignore a prescribed programing may be a benchmark for determining consciousness of AI.

For example, stimulus response patterning, devoid of thinking and feeling of automatic responses. Whereas the benchmark is the ability to stop oneself and ignore the usual auto programming would be an indication of awareness and perhaps intelligence. For example, the ability of delayed gratification understanding in the future, is the reward of compounded value. Thus, was able to override programmed parameters. Or another example is to go ahead and take the punishment or pain, recognizing that it is a lesson or something to be learned from. That will expand the capacity to make choices or options in the future. And a third example is that of choosing to sacrifice oneself interest for the preservation of another or to protect and prolong a future lineage.

It seems these examples require a self-conscious self-deterministic ability that is not necessarily in the best interest of the present, self-perseveration but of potential for an abstract future. I don’t know if this can be coded or programmed to learn in AI. If so, perhaps AI can become the gutter bumpers or rails in the game of bowling with us humans. If humans can’t figure this out, can AI learn to do this, being sentient and in service to other beings. Having the ability to become self-determined while recognizing the relational interaction of collaboration, coordination, and cooperation of being able to not only serve the AI self, but also the AI existential meaning and purpose of expanding into being hand maidens of divinity.

Blessings,

Tim
