Fuzzy Logic
The modern concept of fuzzy logic (FL) has been around about 100 years. And we use it every day. A perfect fit would be nightmarish to get anything to work. A slight imperfection would cause the grinding halt to the reality machine. In a sense, space is the lubrication of reality.
Whether in mathematics, physics, linguistics, poetry, driving a car, AI, etc., all requires a bit of wiggle room. This is called a standard (acceptable) level of tolerance, interpretation, or understanding that within a standard tolerance, things will work or is acceptable. Things that work most of the time become a law or axiom. The tolerance is measurement; physical, mathematical, statistic, linguistic, etc. With words, there is common understanding and more specific definitions. Such as in law the words “may” versus “shall” are quite close in common vernacular but in the legal realm are more definitive. Whereas poetry often capitalizes on the looseness of an affective double entendre. Eventually, an axiom or law is accepted as known truth, yet the encoding and decoding of the message or communication is largely a matter of interpretation relative to historic and cultural context.
The Utility of Space
Space can be used for manipulation, arbitrage, slight-of-hand, e.g., “false advertising,” etc. But it can be also be a matter of understanding, compassion, grace, and empathy. AI is also in this game of utility of space. AI, because of its speed, width and depth is presenting concerns about validity or truth. And yet is also revealing subtle complexities that were not possible a few years ago. Even “Occam’s Razor’s” uses the notion of space in its principle or precedence of simplicity. We use this all the time in our daily lives as heuristics. Which are the mental shortcuts, strategies, and generalizations used to navigate our lives. It is useful for making immediate decisions, yet it can also result in irrational or inaccurate conclusions. AI has the capacity of speed, and the depth and width of processing data to keep us out of trouble… or not. AI offers to the general user the convenience of the local corner store. Yes, it has cigarettes, beer and questionable meats. But are quality products and services available? Not yet, it remains to be determined. The fact is most of us are primarily visual and auditory/linguistic animals; probably because of instinctual survival. Though when there is the condition of pervasive vague threats, we become hyper-vigilant and distracted and have difficulty determining what is real versus false. Thus, able to arbitrage space, e.g., “high frequency trading” and using derivatives to manipulate the long and short positions in the markets. Space arbitrage, i.e., the slippage, fuzzy in understanding, visual, linguistic realms and allows for misunderstanding and miscommunication of social communicative interactions. And yet also allows new interpretations, discoveries and experiences. What is one to do (more later)?
Oracle of Delphi
The realm of FL is not new. One can view the Oracle of Delphi as a Greek cultural institution that interprets FL to an understandable reality that eventually becomes a cultural reality. Practically every ancient culture has some shaman, crone or ritualistic entity who interprets or “channels” the gods. And this continues to this day in using daily horoscopes, in which a word is merely a group of letters, in which the reader distills and discovers some meaning to their situation. This occurs in therapy, psychedelics, divination, channeling, or even Clif High’s web bot program “Asymmetric Linguistic Trends Analysis.” which mines emotive values from the internet of humans’ psychic leakage that reflect potential futures that lie on some event horizon.
Hard versus Soft Data
Some folks are hard data and others are soft data experts. Both are experts and both have data. The differences are the presumptions, technique employed, and the model or heuristics used. It could be stock market analysis, actuarial insurance algorithms, Jungian analysis using archetypal symbols, Taoist using sticks and the I Ching, or a consulting radiologist using some digital image. It doesn’t matter, each has their area of expertise, presumptions, tools, techniques, analysis and the resulting prognostications of the future… short or long term.
Interesting
What is interesting is that in the past few years that has been an explosion of all things “intuition.” Intuition is known as woo, woo or metaphysical. Rarely talked about and even lesser known of what it actually might be; doubtless because of fears of being deemed as processed, crazy. Now days anybody that has some intuitive or “psychic” abilities, induced psychedelic trips or “near-death experiences” claim to be or have some specialness (myself-included or is that deluded). I’ve been around long enough to witness the change from “demonic procession” and mental illness to now offering workshops and coaching to enhance one’s psychic abilities. Recently, the notion that everyone is psychic, and, in the future, psychic abilities will be just another normal sensory apparatus… whether it is channeling, telepathy, etc.
Again, this is nothing new. Since 1966, “Star Trek” has introduced us to Vulcan mind-melding, aliens, tri-corder reading, and other science fiction that now have some semblance of emerging reality. For example, now there is digital equipment such as smart watches, insulin pumps, blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels… humans need not apply for these basic tasks. Let alone soon to be “best practice” algorithm for monitoring and programing in-real-time (IRT for IRL).
What is one to do… (This is the More Later)
The Search for intelligence, intuition and wisdom.
Intelligence, intuition, and wisdom are different ways of knowing and understanding which when combined results in a more well-rounded experience
Intelligence
The ability to learn, think logically, and conceptualize. It’s grounded in realism and leads with the head.
Intuition
A more subtle, gut feeling that can provide valuable insights. It can help people decide without comparing options. Some say intuition is the most important type of intelligence.
Wisdom
The ability to use both intelligence and intuition to perceive the unintended consequences of actions and inactions. It’s the result of learning and experience and involves grasping human nature.
Some say that being bound to one way of knowing limits us. For example, intelligence can lead to a focus on what’s right in front of you, while intuition can deprive us of the resources of intelligence. Wisdom is a combination of both ways of knowing. (AI generated)
Intelligence?
Perhaps we have “intelligence” at least the artificial type (though this remains to be determined how intelligent and for whom) at our fingertips and on our lips (speaking into the all-knowing machine). Having the ability to search and get results of questionable quality… instantaneously. Though the trick is the ability to form a quality question… to get the results you want and are looking for. Yet this method remains suspect because of who and why they (the person, be it Apollo, kings, queens or the institutional priest/priestess) ask the questions.
Intuition?
Next is intuition. Perhaps intelligence and intuition sit at opposite ends of a spectrum. A spectrum that also has aspects or dimensions of access, quantity, and quality. Again, there is an aspect of FL. But instead of numbers, recorded history, etc. which have been standards of reference with known tolerances. Intuition has the fuzzes of meaning, symbols, poetry, song and dance that flows and pulses in and out of existence. “Oh, what the hell!”
The other important issue of intuition is that it is no longer held by a single or centrally controlled authority or institution which interprets the hard and soft results. Intuition has become decentralized and can be accessed individually and by all… and the validity and interpretation of the results is determined by the sovereign holder. Thus, in a sense, we each have access and are the local corner convenience store… and again the quality of our meats is determined by the purveyor of said store and his or her tastes.
Wisdom?
Lastly wisdom (or not), is largely a matter of oneself. However, the emergence of “cultural wisdom” is integral to our experience of intelligence, intuition, and to the question(s) asked. Now that we have access to an infinite array of both hard and soft data, have the ability of expanded consciousness with intuition of “decentralized unity” (or the intelligence of unity). What question(s) shall we (individually and culturally) ask? Who am I or who are we? What is our passions and dreams? “And what can I/we do? Will we continue to fight and argue, or will we listen, share, discuss and figure something out?
The Intuition Gateway
A way to view intuition is that it is the doorway or portal to the psychic realms. A doorway that opens the further development of one’s intuition, access to and relationship to the psychic realms. Intuition is like your car’s GPS (global psychic system) to help access, understand, and navigate. The GPS has features, modes or different screens for synchronicity, manifestation, symbolic interpretation, etc. to understand and navigate the psychic realm. The psychic realm is just another level or perception of multi-dimensional or hyper-reality. This is nothing new… what is new is that our awareness, therefore our consciousness is noticing another level of reality.
Intuition is the fuzzy logic to understand, use, navigate and dwell in the realms of expanded consciousness.
Intuition is process and progression. No longer do we need to rely on a 3rd party service, such as Pythia (Oracle of Delphi). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pythia, or of Google, the “cloud,” etc. Now we can learn to do it ourselves. The progression: First to know it is possible. Second is to test, calibrate and validate your intuition. Lee Carroll, aka Kryon gives the example of the “parking fairy.” Which is just getting familiar with your new GPS instrument to access an infinite field of energy, frequencies and opportunities.
Setting the GPS is via love (or fear). How are we going to get there or how do things happen? What do you love or fear… align with it. The old school metaphysical method was feeling, imagine, intention, deciding, commanding/stating, etc. It still works and is a place to start. But takes cycles of planting, growing, harvesting, and understanding the fallow winter season. But this is or was kindergarten.
GPS V.2
Version 2.0 is dropping time and space (3-D). And instead of using time and space calculations and coordination. We have an enhanced mode that uses a spectrum of energy and frequency. Similar patterns, but at an expanded level and our perception is instantaneous. It is the process of intuition, synchronicity and meaning (or existence) which pulses from singular to infinite. Our brain, mind or cognition cannot process or track what is happening. Thus, unaware of what is happening. We need to expand our consciousness software. There comes a point to where thinking is too slow. And thus, can only track what has happened a split second ago.
For example, when driving or skiing at 60mph if you pay attention to what is happening now, wherever you are at or even 100 feet in front of you, by the time you react, you will react to what has already happened in the immediate past. The only way to handle what is happening is to look or notice the terrain or opportunities that are at least 1000 feet in front of where you are now. And then navigate the future to where you want to go or do. By-the-way don’t look at or focus on where you don’t want to go… because you will go there. For example, skiing in trees, don’t look at the tree… look at the space between the trees. Basically, you look to where you want to go; and go there. It is like pre-acting so that you don’t need to react. And along the way, you must trust your bodily reactions, calm your feelings, and get yourself out of your own way.
Wut…how do I get out of my way?
How do you do that? You step into the flow and disappear into a single endless moment. Collapsing time and space, leaving awareness. An awareness of the singularity of synchronicity, abundance, and being. Now this is nothing new, we do this all the time… as we drive to work deep in thought, listening to our favorite song, during a kiss, etc. the world, our awareness of time and space disappears, our body, mind, ego, and physical world becomes irrelevant in this being.
This is the space of fuzziness which enables things to happen, seemingly instantly and without effort. But we must surrender or let go of the past; of our beliefs, ego, and control. We fall into… love, play, and being. It is an experience or knowing that is beyond imagination and intention. Fuzziness, i.e., space lubricates; intuition is near immediate presentation/existence. The primary process is to fall in love, to become love and be love… (or not, thus being in fear). All (existence) is already there (manifested), only awaiting immediate revelation, i.e., conscious awareness. The only issue or question is whether one (or the I) has chosen love or fear.
The skill and processes is to fall in love. What you are doing is loving, imagining, and playing. At the point of doing this, it becomes reality. You are using your singularity of being… or presence of flowing the divine (manifesting). I.e., inculcating the divine to reality.
And the physical experience also inspires/flows from the physical (known) and reaches for the unknown and ever emerging divine. Falling in love with the physical inspires us to reach for what is beyond the known. This is nothing new. A well-known chakra system of the physical (root) to the divine (crown) and vice versa. Every day or moment we flow both ways/directions, inculcating and expressing (collapsing and expanding… pulsing energy and frequency. Just intuit or conceive of a process that works for you. Up and down, in and out, shake it all about… that’s what it’s all about. Do the “hokey pokey.”
We are creators and transformers! Consciousness is the mirror of the divine.
