Masculine and Feminine Being of Love

A discussion of relationship, energy, and dynamic love.

It’s very simple. We all have both aspects of the masculine and feminine in our being. Both the light and dark, yin and yang, negative and positive, etc. The terms are just reflections of the perspectives and presumptions from various traditions, perspectives, and culture. An easy way to think about this is as the flow of energy, i.e., positive and negative creates the flow of energy. The yin and yang relationship in a dynamic creates the Wuwei… (flow) the Tao. The I Ching (and other metaphysical treaties are the study of the aspects of the flow. Regardless of the flow of time, the initial observation is, “what is happening (or not)?” Yet this is only the surface presentation of the wave crashing on the beach… while there are many dynamics that effect the ocean.

Determining what is happening, one can choose and be sovereign in one’s response. Which is the masculine or yang response to be, being or radiating. The feminine or yin response is also sovereign. It is the choice to hold, play, nurture and/or embrace the yang (or not).

The masculine aspires to be and shine. It is the journey of the “I am” to become and be. The feminine holds (accepts), nurture and play with the light. This is seen in mothers and fathers. Other metaphors are the lock and key, sperm and egg, tantric dance, etc. It is a pattern of interaction. It encompasses four stages of being. First, the romance of enticement and attraction. The second is the play of refining and learning to be. The third stage is becoming sovereign, compassionate and graceful. And the fourth stage is the blessing of being. It is the familiar pattern of see one, do one, teach one and be one.

Dynamic… complex or not?

This is basically a very simple concept. But it is a very dynamic and complex interaction resulting in manifesting myriads of infinities. Yet this is merely a tool of existence. First presenting as a lesson then as a way of becoming refined in both its singular complexity. And both the being the complexity of the singular. It is the dance. Being both the dark and light and the interaction or dynamic flow of the interaction. When the dance is understood, we learn to play, let it go and just flow (be with or bewitched by) the myriads of experiences. Light/dark, yin/yang, positive/negative are neither good nor bad… it’s merely what is. Inherently being is just being. Yet most of us unconsciously project ego-centric templates of good, bad and ugly… or perhaps good, bad and wonderful. Our human perceptions and projections are not reality, but of being human. None-the-less the clarity of being extends beyond the ephemeral physicality of being human; to the indestructible beingness of sovereignty, integrity, compassion, gracefulness and being love. These are the more refined elements we aspire to in being human.

Light cannot be contained. And darkness cannot be dispelled. One can only accept or surrender unto love and be… this is the great churning. It is the changing and being in love is the way; a way of transformation. A tantric dance of being… the multitude of spectrums and dimensions, e.g., atom and electron, sun and moon, etc.

Masculine (consciousness, energy and form)

For the masculine, it’s about going inside finding out who they are, becoming and being who they are. The masculine challenge is to become their divine self, knowing who they are, what they are, and being divine in their sovereignty, integrity, compassion, and gracefulness. Ultimately, to be who and what they are… is to be… being acceptable to the feminine, which is the container of reality.

Feminine (consciousness, energy and form)

Versus the feminine already knows who they are. However, it’s a matter of determining what to accept, nurture, and protect. This is the sovereignty of the gatekeeper and thus the container of reality. Ultimately, to accept nothing less than what is divinely determined.

The feminine learns and discovers to be nothing less than who they are. Learning to accept nothing less, nourishing, and protecting nothing-less-than the divine being (existing). In the divine feminine is conception, birth, life, and death. All enters, exists, and exits through the feminine.

The Union

The masculine being their divine self. And the divine feminine that accepts nothing less than divinity. Then you have the foundation of the divine dance of destruction and creation. The conception, birthing creating, sharing, and flowing the infinite blessings of divine heavens and hells.

Regardless of being human. Regardless of being a man or a woman, whether one holds the light or shines the light, it is about the lovelight and the infinite passion play of love.

When both the feminine and masculine understand their being, sovereignty, and the grace (the responsibility of being their being) to both nurture and protect; nothing less is acceptable or exists. Whether independently and/or together, what is sovereignly determined… exists goes through the process of conception, gestation, birth, life and death.

The feminine aspect is acceptance, embracing or yielding. While the masculine is the active or doing. The “I” masculine stands observing, as the singular being or witness.

The feminine, as the holder or container of all that is and the masculine as the spark of all things that are. And now, as always, the dance of an ever-emerging conception, creation, existence and destruction of infinite realms. It is the revelation/emergent process and flow of the divine revealing itself to itself.

Currently, it is not the rise of the feminine… it has always existed. But it is the recognition, appreciation, and reconnection with the feminine. I.e., to recognize, re-engage and consciously dance (and embrace) the male and female, the light and dark; the negative and positive energy in the flow of creation and being. We are in the process of re-discovery and interpretation of her-story instead of only his-story (from that of the patriarchal perspective to a life creating and enhancing perspective.

The Destroyer as the Transformer

And yes, both the masculine and feminine have also the aspects of the destroyer such as Shiva and Kali… which are not destroyers but are transformers of energy. However, Shiva and Kali destroy the appearances of worn-out form. The flow of destruction is about the deconstructing the old form back into energetic elements. And then transforming the elemental energy into the next emerging form of being. The decomposers, the eaters of death, the worms, bugs, mycelium, humans, black holes, etc. are the ultimate recyclers… bless them.

Consciousness

Being what? And this is where “consciousness” becomes the factor. Based on one’s consciousness, it is the transformer of energy. Depending on one’s being who, what, when, where, why, and how… results in their capacity to transform, create, and destroy… in infinity (creator and destroyer). This is merely a fractal pattern. A process reflected in the spectrum of being from the sub-atomic, human conception, inter-stellar and beyond. The concept of metaphysical/spiritual reciprocity and the lessor form as of karma.

The challenge is to recognize, appreciate, and engage both the feminine and masculine as complementary partners in the dance or tantric union and the spectrum of within (internal) and without (external) for it is only a reflection of the divine discovering, playing, and being divine.

End Note: This is a discussion of energies and existence, couched in the metaphors of masculine and feminine. All sexual beings have both male and female aspects within them that flow in a dynamic and varying manner. Whether it’s DNA, hormones, physical, emotional, cognitive, personality, etc. Both energies are sovereign. Yet it is the interaction between them that reveals a new existence; traditionally, metaphysically and spiritually noted as the second birth, second coming, rebirth (birthed anew), the spiritual birth, and/or revelation, etc. Birth and death, destruction and creation are merely aspects in the divine flow… not to fear… but recognize, understand and love. It is in the crucible (masculine) and/or womb (feminine) of love that the new being is conceived, nurtured and birthed.

Blessings,

Tim
