Life is about expanding your consciousness. Both internally within yourself and externally to the world around you. It is learning to be open and explore. We process our experiences via the head, heart, and being.
The Head, Heart and Being
The head is via thoughts and concepts, which we interpret (process) and project as an experience. An experience is both a memory and a blueprint, template, or paradigm. It is not the experience per se. It is a mental construct, symbolic representation, etc. to make sense of the experience. Head processing is a filter and model that results in biases, ignoring or blocking out what doesn’t fit the model. It is important to be mindful of the bias and the things that do not fit the model. Thus, learning new perspectives and models is a valuable endeavor.
The way of the heart way is by feeling. Feelings do not need to make sense. Feeling are feelings. Feelings are more of a raw experience. Feelings are often regarding experiences of the past. Or they are regarding anticipatory or imagined future experience. The anticipatory or imagined future may be the good, bad, or ugly. Or relative to wishes, rainbows and unicorns. Which are regarding hopes, imaginations, and beliefs. Feelings are felt and then processed with our head, comparing feelings to experiences, the known models, and mental frameworks.
There is also the psychological notion that a person’s behavioral reactions to their environment influence subsequent feelings and then thoughts. For example, walking alone in the dark, you hear the snapping of a stick behind you. You have a startle reaction (behavior). That causes a feeling of fear. And subsequently thoughts that someone or thing is chasing you. Thus, you run behaviors which re-enforce fear and dread (feelings) and thoughts of doom and to run faster.
Though the “manifestation” movement works this process from the opposite direction. First, clarity and visualization (thought) of what you want. Then imbue these thoughts of it already existing. Then attach the feelings (energy and frequency) of the joy and gratitude of already having what you want. And then behaviorally act as if you are already in possession of what you wanted. The older short-hand concept is to give to others what you want. For example, if you want love, be loving; if you want wealth, be generous, etc. Admittedly the manifestation concept is more in the tradition of metaphysics.
It is interesting that recently we have the notion of “conjuring technology.” Conjuring uses intuition, imagination, intention and acting as if, in the present tense; as it has already happened. Basically, matching the resonance and frequency of the future; but in the present tense. The specific focus is on resonant feeling, acting, and knowing that you are already a “sweepstakes winner!” It is basically the manifestation of an abundance program to over-ride or update the old programming of lack/scarcity. It’s updating the (OS) operation system to abundance and expansion.
Being is the most direct path. It is a melding or weaving where two become one and one becomes two. It is where self and other become the same or melded. Regardless the experience and knowledge, the result is more than the sum of the parts. It’s not the old program that we must practice becoming more. We are already more and thus can be. It is just a matter of accessing flow states of being, i.e., to BE (already). It’s jumping into the multi-dimension opportunities and portals. Flowing and being more because you are flow expanded. These are basically techniques of meditation, hypnosis, channeling, Bert Goldman’s “quantum jumping,” flotation tanks, psychedelics, etc.
Answers or Questions
Answers tend to trap or limit us to beliefs and believing. But questions free us to be curious, explore and expand.
The head pathway is to ask questions. “What is your premise (assumption or given)?” Secondarily, the questions of what, when, where, why and how. It is the realm of science, analysis, testing and measurement.
The heart pathway are the questions of what do you feel, what do you love, what is your meaning and purpose? This is the realm of synthesis, innovation, pragmatic and anecdotal results, i.e., experiences.
The being pathway is “who am I?” And being is both a noun and verb question. It is a who (noun) and what are you “doing” (verb)? And this is the realm of melding, execution and the flow. It is beyond experience(s), “it is!” Traditionally known as the mystic, gnostic, enlightened state of being before “not being.”
What is my passion, and what am I going to do about it? This is the process of inspiration, intuition, imagination, intention, and implementation. It is the pathway or process from the physical to the divine. From physical manifestation to the aetheric (energy/frequency) and flow realm. Manifestation are usually thought of as being defined dimensional layers. Meaning conceptually, aetheric, thoughts, feelings, behaviors, etc. are types of or densities of manifestation or physical condensate. And then dematerializes via dying, compost, transfiguration, to becoming aetheric (energy and frequency) and becoming again part of the undefined divine field. However, it is more useful to conceive it as a flow through the densities of being. And wherever one wants to take a snapshot or picture is an arbitrary “freeze frame” of a very minute spectrum of the flow. The issue is that we mistakenly believe the picture is reality. And miss the reality of now and a multitude of opportunities.
Why are you here? Is the ageless question. And the infinite question is what was before existence?
Then who are you… or who am I?
What is your meaning purpose of your existence?
How shall “I” be?… Leads to the proclamation of “I am.”
Beast, Human, Being and Beyond… or Yonder-Be
DNA, beast, human, being and beyond are mere wispy illusions that momentarily form during interactions. If there is no interaction… did it/they even exist?
Most know we are of three parts. Part beast (survival), human (conscious connections/relationships) and being (as self-determined). And there is the beyond, the unfathomable.
A beast responds/interacts with the external environment in which they are embedded. The response is based on survival needs, with minimal consciousness beyond survival. The human response is an interactional relationship with both the immediate external environment (like the beast) but also the internal environment presuming some aspect of consciousness. Humans can expand consciousness and interact with both their perceived external and internal (subjective) environments. The introspective ego capacity of “I think, feel and respond, therefor I am.” And as a human having more expanded consciousness. A consciousness of the external environment, internal subjective environment of thought, feelings, behaviors. And subsequently able to consciously be aware/mindful of its relationships and interactions. Thus, able to create their response.” These are the responses of what ifs and are beyond the immediate environments and relationships. Humans having the capacity to imagine, intend, calculate, and respond to… whether it is real, perceived and imagined environments and interactions.
Basically, we have an extended cognitive capacity of to engage in “game or simulation theory.” This also allows us to create beyond rule bound game theory. In essence, we can create the game, instead of being limited to just play the game. At the being and beyond dimension, we can create the environment, our interactions/relationships and the outcomes or results. Predominately, the ability to respond to hypothetical “what ifs” and to multi-locate and be aware of “the self, the other and the game both empathically and simultaneously.”
As we move into operating from our center of being. We then have awareness of how to be and interact at the beast and human levels. Are we not the creators of our experience? Then what is “beyond?” Is this the potential trap of when “the hunter gets captured by the game?” How does one avoid this wondrous and grand trap?
Premise and Perspective
Being, are we at the next step in evolution? The step where we get to create, experience, and learn of this evolved level of being and the beyond. If our premise and perspective are of the past, it could be horrifying. What if our premise and perspective is the future? Are we limited by our perspective, interpretations, and understandings of the past? And our wishful, imaginary and wants… of glee and the avoidance of suffering? I reckon that both the past and future are inadequate and immature in the emerging dimension of “being and beyond.” Of course, we know or at least believe there’s a next step in our evolution and we can only imagine but we don’t know because we have not yet experienced. Does not one’s existence expands and contracts by the one’s sovereignty? Sovereign to be courageous, curious and recognize the responsibilities to act… or not act?
The Drive of Push and Pull
On one hand, it is the drive to expand and evolve. And on the other hand, to be safe, secure and comfortable with the known. Some note we are in a phase of entropy, chaos, and collapse. Yet others that note, it doesn’t matter what happens, it’s all about the response. The response regardless of whether it is at the level of the external, internal, individual thoughts, feelings, behaviors. Or at a level of community, whether local, regional, geographical, or planetary. It’s about responsibility to act, whether in self-interest or the appreciation of the unity of diversity. While others note that only “I” or one can respond. The premise or presumption is individual sovereignty and free will. It is each being’s choice. And there are others that note we are but a flea, which is part of a larger dog or is it God? Are we able to comprehend being a droplet of water that could be as vaporous gas, a droplet of water, a crashing wave, or a crystal of as a snowflake or a glacier… all striving to be part of the whole and yet able to reflect and host a hologram of infinite water that we cannot comprehend.
Being one or the whole. Being one is being whole. And being whole is being one. The point of being is the ability to be. What is beyond being? What is before us? A better question: what is beyond I… or is it us… but who is counting?
What do we believe? The only one way to find out is to go through and what we can be? There is no way of knowing what will happen except to go through. We can’t avoid it. It’s like fear. If we resist, we persist. We remain the same, unable to change. However, in the situation of changing, instead of fear it is change. Unable to change, grow or evolve but different because we cannot let go of the past; we cannot move toward or grasp our future, dreams, passion or love. We cannot expand beyond. It’s not that we lose our past, but cannot grasp more. Like growing, there’s no way to avoid it. And the only way is by going through. Learning as we go, being as we go, and LOVING as we go… we expand. We expand beyond our wildest dreams. (And way, way, beyond we will find our wildest experiences will eventually become hellish. And our challenge will be to gratefully release and let them become relics of our distant past… fading away, and yet knowing all is only a heartbeat away).
The Response
Not knowing what will be, the only option is to be. To be aware of the probable and conscious of the possible. As this has always been. Having an awareness and consciousness is always the way to be. The future rest on past. Our understanding of our past is where the future is found but not determined. It is knowing the lessons and carrying them forward and beyond. But it is not the future; the future is beyond the past. There is the gap. The future is rooted in the now. Now is where the future becomes into being. Being in the now is being at the crossroad. The crossroad is the gap of now. It is the opportunity and decision between the past and the future. Where shall you live… the past, future or now?
Being is the everlasting and ever-expanding spiral of now. Now is the evolutionary gap, i.e., the quantum leap. Going from the known into the unknown. Pushing beyond the edge of the known is the most difficult. The last part of pushing through the boundary is where the most resistance lies. Yet when the boundary is pierced, there is an explosion and release into a new realm or world that is beyond imagination. The great belief that we are evolving. And able to expand into the unknown. The belief is that being trumps not being. But not being also collapses into being singular. Is singular the self-evident position of being “I am, therefore, I am!” It is the alpha and the omega is a singularly unique proclamation?
So what is the “we are, therefore, we… be? Where, when, and how is the gap of being? As noted (LINK) the gap between is easily found between the breaths. It is where the one and all dwell.
The Head and the Heart? Revisited
We may not know what’s going to happen. But we are able to respond to whatever happens and this is the key or secret to adapting, evolving and being.
How you question is via logic, consistency, etc. It is tricky. You can spend days and nights chasing your tail around, deciding which way to go, left or right, up or down, in or out? The trick is that it doesn’t matter what you decide… but that YOU decide.
So chasing your tail up and down and all around becomes exhausting. Now you are ready for the next adventure. Dropping into your heart. Of course, the experience of the heart is a roller coaster ride of feelings. Up and down, elation and terror, fear, and love, etc. The stillness of peace and the clang of chaos. It is the madness and beauty of experience. It doesn’t matter what you experience… but that YOU experience.
Thus, wrung out, nothing left. You are ready to be. Now that you have been through the head and heart. There is nothing left but to be. To be divine. You are the one recognizing your divinity. You are self-evident by your self-proclamation. Your proclamation is of great importance. The proclamation of “I am.” Thus, you become… you are… your existence. You are a being of creation, destruction, and of being.
The Caveat
You can be and do whatever you want… or more importantly be whatever you need. There is a huge distinction between wants and needs. Both end up at the same place. Though need is a bit more direct and though perhaps a little less of an entertaining circus with clowns.
The ancient caveat is… be careful of what you wish… or choose wisely! Many are the stories throughout cultures that note this theme. It is the tale of the hunter which becomes captured by the game… the bird builds its gilded cage and the seer lost in the labyrinth of their own being. There is only one way out.
The way out… is through and/or in. By going through, we learn… gain the knowledge of experience. A trial by fire. By going in the fire, the fire burns away the chafe. The only way out is in and to go through. Folks, we find ourselves at an interesting time and opportunity on this planet. Seemingly, there are all kinds of chaos, worry and anxiety. And many of may get lost in the storm. However, those who recognize this great opportunity of the way out is in. Does this sound familiar? Perhaps Dante’s The Divine Comedy and many other stories, tales, writings of the past. This is nothing new. It is a perennial theme of the human condition on this planet. In the past, it was an issue of the sages, crones, and mystics. The difference now is that it is a planetary (and some note) a galactic and multidimensional issue. But the remedy remains the same. The way out is in (and through). NOW is the difference! Which reminds me of “All Along the Watchtower” (Bob Dylan, 1967).
Be Your Being
You are self-evident. Be your head, heart, and being. All you can do is to be and perhaps shine. It is your decision is to explore your light, depth, expanse, and singularity of being. Or not; hiding under a basket, ignoring your divine audacity.
It’s a simple decision. It’s your free will and sovereignty.
Many people struggle and have difficulty because they have the premise that they are not divine and must struggle. And in the struggle, to learn (or not)… which is also an exercise of your sovereignty. However, essentially all one needs to do is to recognize who they are. And the rest take care of the Divine Comedy.
So what?
The question of “who am I” makes all other questions immediately irrelevant. The decision to recognize your divinity of being. The trick is to observe all external things are mere projections of your being. And thus the revelation is that all else becomes irrelevant. The only relevant thing is to go inside, collapse into yourself, become singular; exploding into light. One does not need to concern themselves with the past nor the future. There is only now, only love, only to be from the center of your being. You are that which is… the light of the world.
Our head, heart, being are important ambiguous compass points. Expansion to a sphere and the collapse to singular point. The spin or spiral to the right or to the left is the way. The Hokey Pokey, Divine Comedy, and many others are merely ways of learning. Learning what you ask? That is up to you!
Blessings,
Tim
